Beat Licenses
Beats by Drone · License terms v1.0 — November 7, 2026 · Plain words, real terms. Nothing hidden.
The parts that are the same on EVERY license
- Who: the Licensor is Drone P (Paul H. Hill). The Licensee is you — the buyer named at checkout.
- What you are buying: a non-exclusive license to use one beat in one new song — your song, with your own lyrics and vocals on it.
- Ownership: the beat itself stays 100% owned by Drone P. A license is permission to use it — it is never a sale of the beat.
- Publishing — read this twice: no license on this page gives up any publishing. The Licensor keeps 100% of his publishing on every tier, through Sleep Deep Publishing (ASCAP). Your lyrics and your own writer's share of your song are yours; the beat, its copyright, and its publishing never transfer.
- Credit: every release carries the credit “Prod. by Drone P”.
- Never allowed: reselling, giving away, or sublicensing the beat itself · uploading the beat alone to any streaming service or Content ID system · claiming you produced the beat · using the beat in more than one song · registering the beat with a PRO in your name.
- If your song outgrows its caps: your song does not get pulled — you upgrade to the next license and keep moving.
- How you sign: checking “I agree” at checkout and paying is your signature. A copy of the license you accepted — with the date and time — is emailed to you with your files.
- Delivery: your files and your license copy are delivered by email after your payment is verified — usually within a few hours, always within 24 hours.
Basic Lease — MP3 · $29.99
- You receive: the full beat as an MP3 file.
- Up to 50,000 audio streams and 2,500 copies or downloads sold.
- One non-monetized music video. Non-profit live shows.
- Best for: demos, first singles, testing a record.
Premium — WAV + MP3 · $49.99
- You receive: the full beat as WAV + MP3.
- Up to 250,000 audio streams and 10,000 copies or downloads sold.
- One monetized music video · paid live shows · local radio play.
- Best for: a real release on streaming platforms.
Trackouts — Stems · $300 · contract tier
- You receive: every sound on its own track (the stems), plus WAV + MP3 — and this license comes with the written contract: these same terms, issued as your signed contract copy with your delivery.
- Up to 500,000 audio streams and 25,000 copies or downloads sold.
- One monetized music video · paid live shows · local radio play.
- The stems are for mixing your one song — they do not add songs, and they never transfer ownership or publishing.
- Trackouts are the only way stems are sold. No other tier includes them.
Unlimited · $199.99
- You receive: the full beat as WAV + MP3 — no stream caps, no copy caps, for the life of your song.
- One monetized music video · paid live shows · radio play.
- Stems are not included — stems come only through Trackouts.
- Best for: the single you are pushing all the way.
Exclusive · by contract only
Exclusive deals are written one at a time, direct with Drone P — the beat leaves the catalog and the terms are set in a signed contract.
And the rule above still holds: publishing stays with Sleep Deep Publishing (ASCAP) — always.

These terms are the whole agreement for a license purchase; where a signed written contract exists (Trackouts contract copy, Exclusive), that contract controls.
